The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed about the higher range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The assistance place designed for intervention activities a large influx of read more opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
